Sometimes the teacher needs to communicate frequently with the teachers or even with the students. However, when the class is for students of certain age (usually 16+) some tools like ClassDojo are not as effective with them as it is with the younger learners. While WhatsApp and similar tools are popular, they represent a risk (as nobody from the school can control these conversations) as well as a technology dependence (WhatsApp only runs in mobile phones).

Slack is a communication tool oriented to productivity. Its set up for teams and each team can be divided in different channels with different people and topics.

Activity 5: They cannot speak now. Create a team and invite the participants. Combine this with Google Drive and make them organise themselves through it and create a planning (i.e. a holidays trip).
